Since Lethal Company's release on PC via Steam, the game boasts an all-time peak player count of over 230,000 and averages a concurrent player base of over 90k per day. This means, at present, Lethal Company is already competing in Steam's top 5 most played games despite the title still being in the 'Early Access' phase of development. It's hard to imagine that Lethal Company will forever be confined to PC.

So, when can we expect an Xbox / console release?

Sadly, the lone developer of Lethal Company, Zeekerss, has not commented on progress with a console version of Lethal Company. As such, there is no penned release date for Lethal Company on Xbox (or any other console) and that may not change for a long, long time. Here's why...

As mentioned earlier in this write-up, Lethal Company is still in Early Access on Steam - and that is very early access. Zeekerss himself shared on Lethal Company's store page that there remains much to be done before the game can truly be called finished. Here's what he had to say:

Zeekerss: "I want Lethal Company to be so full of creatures, items, customization, and map variations that it feels "infinitely replayable." This is the type of game that benefits from being full of stuff. Besides that, I want to iron out most glitches and tighten the game's design and difficulty so it can be enjoyed by new and experienced players alike."

Following this, Zeekerss expects Lethal Company to remain in Early Access until at least April 2024, and even longer if the game requires further polish. This gives us an idea of when a full PC release may become available. As for Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch, we can do little more than wait with bated breath.
