With Hades 2 in Early Access, players will seek out ways to become stronger, so keepsakes are the key to upgrading Melinoë. The Hades title prides itself on very fun and replayable content which is fuelled by seeking out new gear, crafting weapons, and testing out different builds to help you defeat your foes.

With that being said, we will go over everything we know so far about keepsakes in Hades 2. We will take a look at how you can obtain them, how you can upgrade them, and what keepsakes are currently available in the game.

How to Obtain Keepsakes in Hades 2

You can get keepsakes by turning in Nectar to specific NPCs in Hades 2. There are a total of 27 keepsakes in Hades 2 and a total of three levels per keepsake that you can upgrade.

You can obtain Nectar through the following methods:

  • Receive it as an Encounter Reward
  • Trade with the Wretched Broker at The Crossroads
  • Cast Kinship Fortune Incantation
  • Buy it with Gold from Charon
  • Summon Moros for a second time

How to Upgrade Keepsakes in Hades 2

To upgrade your keepsake in Hades 2, you will need to have the keepsake equipped and complete a certain number of encounters to be able to upgrade it from Rank 1 to Rank 3.

To upgrade a keepsake from Rank 1 to Rank 2, you will need to win 25 encounters with the keepsake equipped.

To upgrade a keepsake from Rank 2 to Rank 3, you will need to win an additional 50 encounters with the keepsake equipped.

Below, you can find a table of all the keepsakes found so far in Hades 2. Please keep in mind that not all of the effects are confirmed as players are still discovering and ranking up each keepsake.

Silver Wheel Hecate

Automatically restores 1,000/1,500/2,000 Magick per night.

Knuckle Bones Odysseus

The first boss fought after equipping this loses 5%/10%/15% of their health, and you take 15% less damage from bosses.

 Luckier Tooth  Schelemeus After falling to zero Life, you will restore a large percentage of it automatically. The percentage grows with each rank. 
 Ghost Onion  Dora Whenever you exit a location, you restore your Life to max, up to a total value of 50/75/100. 
 Evil Eye  Nemesis  Deal +20%/+25%/+30% damage to the last enemy that killed you. 
 Engraved Pin  Moros After you fall to zero Life, you become Impervious for 10 seconds. If you kill the remaining enemies within 10 seconds, you gain 30/X/X Life back. 
 Discordant Bell   Eris  After each encounter deal and take +0.5%/+1%/+1.5% damage. 
 Gold Purse  Charon Gain 100/125/150 gold when you equip this Keepsake. 
 Metallic Droplet  Hermes  Your move, strike, and channel are 20% faster for the next 200/300/400 seconds.

 While you have less than 30 Life, you have a +20%/+30%/+40% critical chance. 

 Moon Beam  Selene

 You gain +1/+2/+3 Hex upgrades from the next Path of Stars you acquire. 

 Cloud Bangle  Zeus  Boons from Zeus are more likely and you can Rarify a Common/Rare/Epic blessing of his once per night. 
 Iridescent Fan  Hera  Boons from Hera are more likely and you can Rarify a Common/Rare/Epic blessing of hers once per night. 
 Vivid Sea  Poseidon  Boons from Poseidon are more likely and you can Rarify a Common/Rare/Epic blessing of his once per night. 
 Barley Shef  Demeter  Boons from Demeter are more likely and you can Rarify a Common/Rare/Epic blessing of hers once per night. 
 Purest Hope   Apollo  Boons from Apollo are more likely and you can Rarify a Common/Rare/Epic blessing of his once per night. 
 Beautiful Mirror  Aphrodite  Boons from Aphrodite are more likely and you can Rarify a Common/Rare/Epic blessing of hers once per night. 
 Adamant Shard  Hephaestus  Boons from Hephaestus are more likely and you can Rarify a Common/Rare/Epic blessing of his once per night.

 Everlasting Ember  Hestia

 Boons from Hestia are more likely and you can Rarify a Common/Rare/Epic blessing of hers once per night. 

 Lion Fang   Heracles 

 You deal +30%/+40%/+50% damage, but this reduces by 5% per encounter. 

 Blackened Fleece   Medea   After taking 250 damage over the course of a run, your Omega Moves deal +20%/+30%/+40% damage. 
 Crystal Figurine   Circe   After the next boss fight, activate a random Arcana card at rank 1/2/3. 
 Silken Sash  Arachne  Gain +20 shield and buff this by +2/+3/+4 every time you complete a location if you still have some shield remaining. 
 Aromatic Phial  Narcissus  Fountains restore +20% Life, and the next fountain you use will improve a Common Boon of yours to Rare/Epic/Heroic level. 
 Concave Stone   Echo  After choosing a Boon, 25%/X/X you will get an additional Boon. This happens once per night. 
 Experimental Hammer  Icarus  Gain 1 random Daedalus Hammer effect for the next 10/15/20 encounters. 
 Transcendent Embryo  Chaos  Gain a random Common/Rare/Epic Chaos blessing once this night, and replace it every 8 encounters.
