Given the new Nerubian-themed Raid, Blizzard has decided to implement a new arachnophobia filter that will allow players to enjoy the game without any setbacks. You will now be able to toggle between seeing spiders and crabs, depending on your preference without causing too much game interference or ruining the general environment of World of Warcraft.

It is interesting to see that the devs have taken steps to create a better gaming environment with players that have arachnophobia, developers need to offer ways for players to maximize their enjoyment of the base game. Whether that would mean turning arachnids into crabs or other means, the end result is always to ensure quality and entertainment.

The developers shared how the arachnophobia filter would work in-game, turning spider models into crabs. Although a bit silly at first, this will certainly help players better navigate the game and focus on the enemies in front of them instead of having to worry or be scared.

Although this feature is still in Alpha, we might see this expanding beyond the new raid and go into other aspects of the game so that players can more freely explore and quest in World of Warcraft without having to face arachnids. This system will allow players to dynamically switch between one or the other models, without having to reload the game each time.

And that is everything we know so far about this new feature. Blizzard is very thoughtful in implementing this into the game, allowing for even more players to enjoy the vast worlds of World of Warcraft
