Valorant 13.09 Patch Notes - Hush Agent & Warden Buffs
We break down every change in Valorant patch 13.09, from new Agent Hush and Warden buffs to Clove tweaks and bug fixes.

Valorant patch 13.09 was published on October 27, 2026, and its big news is the arrival of new Agent Hush. The notes also add updated ability tooltips, official Haste and Snapshot buff terms, Clove and Warden adjustments, and a long list of bug fixes for Valorant.
We will go over every change in Valorant 13.09, from Hush's kit and the new buff terms to the Warden recoil tweaks and smaller fixes.
Valorant 13.09 Highlights
- New Agent Hush: she picks up weapons and the Spike from range, and throws Displacement and Flashbulb before suspending enemies.
- Tooltips: ability descriptions are rewritten, passives are described in more places and the tooltip is redesigned.
- Buff terms: Haste and Snapshot are now official terms.
- Clove: Pick-me-up movement speed drops from 15% ⇒ 10%.
- Warden: smoother pitch recoil and lower spread on follow up shots.
- Competitive: Performance Score info pages, a bigger Act Best Match impact on Map Rating and a harder First Blood Accolade.
Agent Hush
Hush is the newest Agent, and Riot describes her as hailing from Guangdong province. She uses telekinesis to redirect her combat utility in midair, displacing the enemy team before suspending them for the killing blow.
Telekinesis (Passive)
Hush can pick up weapons, the Spike (when on attacker side), and interact with switches from an increased range.
Displacement
Equip Displacement, then fire to throw it. Alt fire prepares it instead, and reactivating it directs it towards your crosshair. It explodes on any surface or after a delay, pulling all players towards the center and concussing them if they collide with any surface or another player. It resets every two kills.
Flashbulb
Equip Flashbulb, then fire to throw it. Alt fire prepares it instead, and reactivating it directs it towards your crosshair. It explodes on any surface or after a delay, flashing all players looking at it.
Flow
Flow instantly creates an anchor. If Hush is in the air, she briefly levitates in place, and after a delay she propels towards the anchor.
Suspension
Suspension is instantly prepared. Fire to send it forward while steering with your crosshair, then reactivate it or press fire again to detonate it, levitating all players.
Ability Descriptions and Buff Terms
All ability descriptions have been updated for clarity and consistency. Passive descriptions now appear for more Agents in Agent Select, the Agent Hub and Ability Tooltips, including passives that were not previously described in game, like Neon's Battery.
The Ability Description Tooltip has also been redesigned to read better at a glance, with baseline details such as Agent, role and keybinds. Tooltips now appear during relevant moments, such as when you test a new Agent in the Range.
Haste and Snapshot
Haste and Snapshot are now official buff terms.
- Haste: the increased movement speed buff you receive, as opposed to a Combat Stim buff, which increases your fire rate, equip speed, reload speed and recovery speed.
- Snapshot: the still image silhouette reveal debuff, such as Cypher's Neural Theft and Spycam.
The change should make it clearer when you receive or refresh a Combat Stim buff, a Haste buff, or both. Because Haste now adds a timer bar to the UI, the previous timer bar was removed to reduce clutter.
- Brimstone: Stim Beacon shows an applied Haste buff to affected players.
- Clove: Pick-me-up shows an applied Haste buff.
- Miks: Harmonize shows an applied Haste buff to affected players.
- Neon: Neon sees an applied Haste buff while using High Gear or Overdrive.
- Waylay: Convergent Paths buff is renamed to the new Haste buff, since they have identical effects.
Agent Adjustments
Clove
While auditing buffs, the team found inconsistencies with Clove and is standardizing them to roster values and rules. Clove had a higher movement speed bonus than similar abilities and different kill rewards after casting Not Dead Yet.
- Pick-me-up bonus movement speed: 15% ⇒ 10%
- Not Dead Yet: killing Clove after they cast it now grants an ultimate point and signature refresh point to the player who killed them.
Jett
Jett's passive was removed from the Buy Menu to be consistent with other non-purchaseable passives.
Competitive and Store Updates
Hush is the first new Agent since Performance Score launched, so your scores on her may be a bit bumpy in the first few days while the team tunes what good utility use looks like.
- Performance Score: the end-of-game pages give more info, including hover text for trades on the scoreboard (PC only) and a new "learn more" screen.
- Map Rating: your Act Best Match now has a bigger impact on your Map Rating each Act, to highlight consistency and peaks.
- Accolades: the First Blood Accolade was showing up too often, so its threshold is harder to earn. Your historic count of Accolades is not affected.
- Store: in Korea only, players can now buy Radianite Points in game.
Warden Buffs
The team has been watching player feedback on the Warden and wants to improve its base versatility and handling to better fit its current 2900 price. The buffs aim to make the gun feel more controllable and comfortable to learn.
- Pitch recoil is smoothed out for the first few bullets.
- Spread on follow up shots is reduced.
- 2nd bullet error: .25 ⇒ .2
- 3rd bullet error: .6 ⇒ .5
