No Rest for the Wicked, the latest game by the developers of Ori and the Blind Forest, is finally being released on April 18th. The game is a soulslike ARPG with a beautiful handcrafted world and loot elements similar to the Diablo series. No Rest for the Wicked will launch as an Early Access title, and it will continue being iterated upon based on player feedback, with more content coming in the next few months. During the first few days of launch, you are also going to be able to earn some free Twitch Drops rewards, as well as a big discount if you make use of their affiliate program.

With all that said, some players who are interested in the Early Access stage might be wondering how much content there will be available at launch. Here is everything we know so far, based on information from the developers!

How Much Content is in the No Rest for the Wicked Early Access?

Based on a X post by Moon Studios Co-founder Gennadiy Korol, the Early Access version of No Rest for the Wicked is going to feature around 15-25 hours of gameplay for a single playthrough of the campaign, as well as the Crucible endgame dungeon. Players who are interested in fully exploring the handcrafted world, while also engaging with the housing, challenge, and bounty systems, are going to get even more playtime out of the game.

No Rest for the Wicked aims to be a highly replayable game, with a soft class system that will allow you to try out different builds. The Early Access launch will have more than 100 different weapons, each with their own unique move sets. The game also features a town meta system, which will allow you to make relationships and invest your resources into building the infrastructure of Sacrament, the main city in the game. The combination of dense level design and the 'alive' system, which changes which types of enemies appear in the different regions, means players will be able to find something new each time they explore the world.

It's also worth mentioning that the game is going to be heavily inspired by the Dark Souls series, and depending on the difficulty of the game, some players might end up playing for longer periods of time than others. The game will not have any difficulty settings, but as it is an ARPG, you are going to be able to go back, get a few levels and new items, and come back a lot stronger.

Moon Studios has also already revealed their future roadmap for the game, with the first update adding Multiplayer, both as an option to join your friends and to PvP other players. The second major update will continue adding new areas to the game, while also expanding on the main story and the many different characters you will meet on your journey through Isola Sacra.

No Rest for the Wicked is going to launch with quite a bit of content during its Early Access stage. If the replayability of the systems holds up, you could be looking at dozens of hours of exploration, combat, and optimization for your character. The game will launch on April 18th, and if you are interested in news and guides, make sure to keep an eye out on our dedicated section for the game.
