Jujutsu Kaisen Editor Leaked New Chapter: Gojo Returns?

The Japanese channel 'One Piece Variety: Become the Pirate King TV' aired a broadcast on January 13th, 2024, during which the reporters aimed to collect all the exclusive One Piece stickers from special edition wafers.

During the broadcast, the reporters visited Shonen Jump's editing department. In the office, they randomly encountered an editor who worked on the newest Jujutsu Kaisen chapters. While talking with him, the reporters gathered some clues about the future contents of JJK.

Jujutsu Kaisen's Chapter 248 Leaks?

In the photo, we see Junya Fukuda, the editor of JJK, with panels from the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen chapters displayed on his screen. As soon as the reporters saw his monitor, they recognized that he was working on Jujutsu Kaisen. When they asked about it, he confirmed that it is a chapter that hasn't been released yet.

This was the raw reaction of the reporter as soon as he saw the scene. 
He called it 'とんでもないシーン,' which translates to 'A shocking scene.' To this, Junya Fukuda replied that shocking events will take place in the upcoming JJK chapters 248 and 249.

Fans paid more attention to the blurred screen of the editor, specifically the outline of the panel. It cannot be denied that, even though it is blurred, the image resembles Gojo a lot.

After seeing that, fans immediately started celebrating that it was not 'GOJOVER.' Even though it would be very nice to think this might be true and Gojo Satoru might return in the next chapters, realistically, this seems to be a throwback scene.

We all know that during the first 5 episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, Gojo was wearing such glasses. However, since this is his younger self, it would make sense if they brought him back only as a memory.

Later during the interview with Junya Fukuda, he shared that the ending of Jujutsu Kaisen has already been decided. Apparently, the author of JJK, Gege Akutami, has already outlined the entire remaining plot of the series. What is left now is for us to see it unfold in the remaining chapters.

Even though it is unlikely, it is still satisfying to imagine the actual return of Gojo in the series and consider how much of a difference it would make to the current events unfolding in the manga.
