Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 - Hajin, Zodiac & Everything New
Warzone Season 1 goes live on November 6 with the Hajin and Zodiac maps, new Field Upgrades, Elite Perks and full Modern Warfare 4 integration.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 goes live at 0000 (midnight) ET on November 6, which is 2100 PT on November 5. The season fully integrates Modern Warfare 4 into the free-to-play game and brings two brand new maps with it.
If you play Warzone, this is a big reset: your level, your weapon pool and a lot of the moment-to-moment gameplay change. Below we go over the maps, the new gear, the modes and the carry forward rules, based on the official Season 1 rundown.
Modern Warfare 4 Integration
At launch, Player Level resets so you can level up and optionally Prestige across Multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone. You get access to all 33 Modern Warfare 4 launch weapons, plus Apex Attachments, Season 1 Operators, Daily Challenges, Calling Card Challenges and your Battle Pass and BlackCell progress. For more on that system, see our guide to Modern Warfare 4 progression and Prestige.
Gameplay changes include:
- Tactical Sprint is available to all Operators without a Perk, but its duration is slightly shortened.
- You can drag allies while reviving them.
- Footstep audio and map visibility are improved.
Operators, skins and Blueprints from Modern Warfare II, Modern Warfare III, Black Ops 6 and Black Ops 7 carry over. Weapons from those games stay usable in the Legacy tab, but can't be edited in Gunsmith and don't support Mastery Camos, Reticle Challenges or Build Codes.
New Maps
- Hajin (Battle Royale): the first Warzone map set on the Korean Peninsula, with 13 major POIs across North and South Korea, variable weather and two Gulag variants.
- Zodiac (Resurgence): a compact map built around the DRC Advanced Systems drone headquarters, with ten POIs including Admin, Trackline and Furnace, plus underground tunnels and moving trains.
- Verdansk and Rebirth Island: both return later in Season 1.
New Gear and Gameplay
- Zipline Launcher: a Field Upgrade that creates a zipline anyone, including enemies, can use. You can fire your Pistol while riding it.
- Grabber Drone: picks up loot, objects, fuel barrels and even downed teammates, but has limited battery life.
- Weapon Augments: three types (CQC, Marksman and Handling) found at "Fly Buy" Buy Stations in limited quantities.
- Grind for Royalty: personal challenges that reward two Weapon Camos each season, "Gold Excellence" and "Gold Mosaic" in Season 1.
- Elite Perks: Athleticism, Phantom and Fieldcraft add a fourth Perk slot, found only in a match, and only one can be equipped at a time.
Season 1 Modes
Battle Royale and Resurgence, plus Casual variants, are the main modes. Battle Royale runs on Hajin and Verdansk, and Resurgence runs on Zodiac and Rebirth Island. Launch also brings three limited-time modes:
- Rally Point: a no-circle, drop-in/drop-out training mode on Zodiac for up to 20 players.
- Massive Resurgence: up to 120 players on Hajin.
- Loaded Resurgence: up to 44 players on Zodiac and Rebirth Island, where you deploy with your chosen Loadout.
Extreme Resurgence and Rockets and Snipers arrive in the Mid-Season.
