WoW SoD Phase 2 How to Get Gnomeregan Crafted Items

You will need to go through a rather long quest chain. We will go over all of the details you need to know so you can start crafting.

Step 1: Obtain the Grime-Encrusted Salvage in Gnomeregan

You will need to loot the Grime-Encrusted Salvage that randomly drops from trash mobs and bosses in the Gnomeregan Raid.

You will then have go to The Dormitory Area and insert the item in The Salvagematic 9000! along with thirty Silver.

Ziri "The Wrench" Littlesprocket will then offer you assistance to fix the machine once it breaks down. You will have to gather a lot expensive and rare materials.

Step 2: Obtain the Corroded G-7 C.O.R.E. Processor

You will have to go back to the front entrance of the Gnomeregan Raid and kill the Techbot so you can loot his Corroded G-7 C.O.R.E. Processor

You will then get the The Corroded Core quest that will have you speak with Ziri "The Wrench" Littlesprocket to advance the quest chain.

After talking with her, she will share that Wirdal Wondergear has created the item. You will then need to head to Booty Bay to speak with Scooty.

Step 3: Find Wirdal's Beacons

After speaking with Scooty, you will need to go to 4 different zones to locate all of the Beacons. Once you find them, return to Scooty so he can teleport you to Wirdal Wondergear

Step 4: Gather Reagents for Wirdal's Repairs

After talking with Wirdal Wondergear, you will have to collect difficult to obtain materials. There is a theory that you need to have at least 175/225 Skill in one of the three relevant professions to be able to get the items to drop.

Spent Voidcore can drop from Naga mobs found on the Isle of Dread or the south of the Feathermoon Stronghold in Feralas. It might take some time for the item to drop so be prepared.

Mote of Darkness can be obtained from the Shadowy Figure after killing enough enemies for her to spawn. It seems that it does not matter what mobs you have to kill as you can even get Bloodmoon Event PvP kills.

Step 5: Deliver the Materials to Ziri in Gnomeregan

Once Wirdal Wondergear has worked his magic, you will need to head to Gnomeregan again and speak with Ziri "The Wrench" Littlesprocket to finish the quest chain.

You will now be able to purchase all of the crafted item recipes and schematics for the newly-added crafting components.

You will also be able to use Grime-Encrusted Salvage in the repaired Salvagematic 9000 to Box of Gnomeregan Salvage that can contain valuable materials.

And that is everything you need to know on how you can start crafting gear from Gnomeregan recipes.
