Helldivers 2 Might Be Coming to Xbox

Helldivers 2 has been an incredible success for Arrowhead Game Studios but they have been limited to PC and PlayStation users since the release. We have all hoped to see the popular shooter come to Xbox because, in the fight for democracy, we are in need of more soldiers.

There have been requests and petitions from all gamers because we fight as a community against the alien threat in Helldivers 2. The more people that play increases our chances of winning the war. Despite our constant begging for Xbox users to join the fight, we heard nothing until now.

Will We See Helldivers 2 on Xbox?

We would like to make clear that this is a rumor but there was mention of Helldivers 2 coming to Xbox during a recent episode of The XboxEra podcast. In the segment referred to as “The Rumourmill” Shpeshal Nick claimed to have heard of some discussions going on within Sony about Helldivers 2 coming to Xbox.

We know that PlayStation has a new CEO at the moment, and I think the new CEO might be more open to certain things. And what I’ve heard is that there may be some very, very early, preliminary discussions about the possibility of Helldivers 2 coming to Xbox.

He does go on to make it clear that this is just a rumor and doesn’t want everyone to jump for joy quite yet. This is only extremely early talks about Helldivers 2 coming to Xbox.

Being a live service game, Helldivers 2 does need to maintain its player count to keep itself enjoyable for the fans. Arrowhead has an untapped resource with Xbox users and most gamers cannot see the downside in opening the game up for newcomers. We will have to see if anything comes from this rumor but for now, we can quietly hope.

This is not a confirmation but if the discussion goes well, it could mean great things for Helldivers 2 and bad news for the Terminids and Automatons.
