Helldivers 2: Scope of Authority Premium Warbond Arrives October 20

The Scope of Authority Premium Warbond is coming to Helldivers 2 on October 20, according to a developer post on Steam. It's a long-range and stealth themed pack, built around a new bolt-action sniper rifle, a heavy anti-materiel rifle and two camouflage armors.

If you've been waiting for a proper sniper loadout, this is the Warbond to watch. Below is a rundown of every weapon, stratagem, armor and cosmetic the announcement lists.

What's in the Scope of Authority Warbond

The announcement splits the pack into weapons and stratagems, then armors, passive and extras. The weapons come first:

• R-40 Sightliner: a bolt-action primary sniper rifle that balances stability and power, firing powerful armor piercing rounds with long-range precision.
• P-44 Mist: a one-handed machine pistol designed for compact carry, meant for when the enemy closes in on a sniper.
• AMW-20 Apex: a backpack-fed anti-materiel rifle with assisted reload. It was built to answer larger, more heavily-armored foes, and the announcement admits it's far from subtle.
• LAS-44 Nova: a new entry in the LAS series of energy weapons. It has infinite ammo like the rest of the series and fires a high-precision non-explosive thermal projectile after a short charge cycle. A new optimization routine improves its cooldown, so it keeps firing longer after all targets are down.
• G-11 Caltrops: a throwable that scatters a wide field of proximity-detonated submunitions, which slow and stun enemies so they're easier to line up.

Armors, Passive and Extras

Two armors come with the Warbond, and both carry the Stationary Shroud passive. It reduces weapon sway and detection range while you're crouched or prone, by mimicking foliage concealment.

• SS-33 Mimetic Marshal (light armor): inspired by old-fashioned ghillie suits, with light-diffusing netting and adaptive fiber technology. It comes with the Mimetic Mesh cape and player card.
• SS-15 Focal Point (medium armor): adaptive camouflage and cutting-edge optics in an asymmetrical visor. It looks best paired with the Boundary Banner cape and player card.

You also get the Manual Ballistic Projection emote and a new title, Longshot, for showing off your distance shooting.

How to Get It
