Helldivers 2 Server Maintenance February 11: When Will The Servers Be Back Up?

Helldivers 2 is the latest multiplayer co-op game that has managed to exceed all expectations, receiving widespread acclaim and bringing in tons of new players to the genre. The game was released on February 8th and has continuously hit new peaks in terms of sales and concurrent players since then. While this is amazing news for the developers over at Arrowhead Game Studios, they may have heavily underestimated the popularity of the game and did not manage to prepare for the server load that was needed. For this reason, the developers have stated that server maintenance is going to happen today, on February 11th. Helldivers 2 Server Maintenance & Downtime February 11

Arrowhead Game Studios posted today on both Reddit and Discord that the Helldivers 2 servers are going to be under maintenance starting at 7 pm CET / 10 am PST / 3 am JST. This maintenance aims to fix a lot of the server issues that have been occurring since the launch of the game, including the lack of rewards at the end of missions, the many different login failure errors, as well as general connection problems. Here is the full message that was sent out by the developers:

Hi everyone,

A little update regarding our server related issues. The current biggest issues are the game not dishing out rewards properly at the end of missions accompanied with the reoccurring login failures.

This is very important for us to fix as soon as possible and as such, we've decided to perform server maintenance in about 2 hours (7pm CET / 10am PST / 3am JST).

As always when making changes in a live environment, we need to address this with caution and monitor the situation closely.

The dedicated Arrowhead team will be on standby to take action immediately if we see negative effects on the player experience.

Note that during this maintenance we expect there to be larger disruptions to the servers for a limited period of time. Sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause.

When Will The Helldivers 2 Servers Be Back Up?

From the post made by Arrowhead Game Studios, it's unclear whether or not the servers are actually going to go down, as they stated that there will be "larger disruptions to the servers for a limited period of time." Either way, we don't recommend trying to play the game during this time, as the server issues were already quite bad to begin with.

No information was given on when the servers will actually become stable, but we expect it to take at least a couple of hours. Many players were experiencing a ton of login and connection issues today, and the developers are doing their best to get the game into a stable state.
