Pokemon GO: Wild Area Global Community Meetups in Europe
Here's where and when the Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global community meetups run in Karlsruhe and Stockholm, and what you can expect at each.
The Pokémon GO team has announced community meetups in Europe for Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global, which runs from November 14 to 15, 2026. The team is partnering with local Community Ambassadors to organize meetups in Karlsruhe, Germany and Stockholm, Sweden. If you play Pokemon GO with friends or want to meet other Trainers, this is your chance.
The announcement says the game is better when we play together. Below we go through the date, place and hours of each meetup, what to expect when you arrive, and what to do if you don't live nearby, based on the official post.
Where and When to Play
Karlsruhe, Germany
- Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026
- Place: Ettlinger Tor (Karl-Friedrich-Straße 26, 76133 Karlsruhe)
- Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time
The post links an RSVP page for the meetup. It also tells you to follow the Campfire group of the participating community for more information, and to open the links on your phone for the best viewing experience. The communities listed are PO GO Süd-West Stadt Ka (Karlsruhe), Pokémon GO Stuttgart, Pokémon Pforzheim and Vaihingen an der Enz VAIne Raids. The announcement also notes that you can meet HanniMew at this meetup.
Stockholm, Sweden
- Date: Sunday, November 15, 2026
- Place: Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, Sergels Torg, 111 57 Stockholm
- Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time
Stockholm has its own RSVP page, and the participating community is SRE | Stockholm Raids & Events. The same advice applies: keep an eye on its Campfire group for updates.
What to Expect at the Meetups
The team lists the following for both meetups:
- Photo opportunities to capture the memories
- Fun activities with local Community Ambassadors and their communities
- Pokémon GO event pins and prints, while supplies last
- Timed Research when you check in at the official meetup
The team is also working with local Community Ambassadors to add more PokéStops, Gyms and Powerspots near the event area for these meetups.
Not Near Karlsruhe or Stockholm?
You don't have to live near one of these cities. The post says Pokémon GO communities and Community Ambassadors are planning meetups all over Europe, and it links a page where you can find your local community.
The team says the best way to experience Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global is in person. As always, be aware of your surroundings and follow guidelines from local health authorities when you play. Upcoming events are subject to change, so follow the game on social media, opt in to push notifications and subscribe to the emails to stay updated.
