The Pokemon GO team has announced Into the Wild, a Steel- and Dragon-type event for Pokemon GO that runs from Monday, November 9, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, November 13, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time. It leads into Pokemon GO Wild Area, and the announcement puts Dynamax debuts and two Crowned legendaries front and center.

If you plan to raid or battle a lot that week, the dates and bonuses are worth planning around. Below we cover the Max Battle and raid lineup, the event bonuses and the GO Pass, all taken from the official Pokemon GO post.

Into the Wild Lineup

Dynamax debuts: Dynamax Regidrago arrives in five-star Max Battles, and Dynamax Meltan debuts in GO Pass: Into the Wild. Either one can be Shiny if you're lucky.

  • One-star Max Battles: Ralts
  • Two-star Max Battles: Machop
  • Five-star Max Battles: Registeel on Wednesday, November 11, Regidrago on Thursday, November 12, and Latias and Latios on Friday, November 13
  • Three-star raids: Druddigon and Orthworm
  • Five-star raids: Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta

Each five-star Max Battle Pokemon also gets an hour of Max Battles from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time on its day. Raid Hours run in the same window, with Crowned Sword Zacian on Monday, November 9, and Crowned Shield Zamazenta on Tuesday, November 10. Defeating them earns Crowned Sword Energy or Crowned Shield Energy.

Caught during the event, Registeel knows Metal Claw, Latias knows Mist Ball, Latios knows Luster Purge and Regidrago knows Dragon Breath. Wild encounters include Magnemite, Noibat, Togedemaru and more, and Wild Area themed Field Research tasks are available throughout.

Bonuses and Challenges

  • Remote Raids: the limit rises to 30 from November 9 to 13, then there's no limit on November 14 and 15.
  • Coin Bag: you may encounter Shiny Gimmighoul when you use one, until Sunday, November 15, at 6:00 p.m.
  • Meltan: using the Mystery Box can give you a Shiny Meltan encounter, and the wait before you can open it again is reduced.
  • Background: successful catches from five-star raids and five-star Max Battles can earn a new Special Background.
  • Daily Discoveries: these won't take place from November 9 through 15.

The Into the Wild Global Challenge unlocks bonuses once Trainers worldwide finish enough raids and Max Battles. They make the Adventure Effects for Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash more effective, and Max Battle energy fills the meter faster. Wild Area stickers come from PokeStops and Gifts, and they're in the shop from Friday, November 6.

GO Pass: Into the Wild

The GO Pass is free and starts automatically on Monday, November 9, at 10:00 a.m. local time. You rank up by collecting GO Points through Sunday, November 15, at 6:00 p.m., and rewards must be claimed by Tuesday, November 17, at 11:59 p.m.
