pisode 3 introduces some new antagonistic forces that pose a threat to protagonist Joe "Higan" Logan and his quest for vengeance. The Ninja Clan's leader, Master Yamazi, makes a plot with a sadistic assassin who views Higan as a "piece of meat" to lust after in battle. This villain kind of feels dated and a bit stereotypical.

There is also the ruthless ninja known as "The Reaper," who kills exiled former brother without remorse. Both villains bring compelling physical challenges but lack depth beyond being murderous fanatics.

AUZA Investigation Continues in Ninja Kamui Episode 3

Meanwhile, Higan continues investigating megacorp AUZA alongside US intelligence agent Mike and researcher Emma. Evidence found in Episode 3 shows that AUZA has global influence and a connection to recent ninja attacks.

Mike and Emma, despite their disagreements, become strong allies with the common goal of confronting AUZA. This scene in the episode adds more investigative interest, balancing Higan's tragic backstory. Revealing the extent of AUZA's corruption significantly heightens the challenges Higan must overcome.

As always, Ninja Kamui still delivers a sleek, hard-hitting fight choreography every week. In the episode's climax, Higan skillfully defeats an assassin with speed, precision, and lethal moves, showcasing his combat skills. Even though Ninja Kamui has flaws, this anime truly shines with its fight and combat scenes.

This week's Ninja Kamui Episode 3 is visually impressive, but unfortunately, it falls short in good writing. As the show introduces more stories and characters in the future, there's hope for a smoother mix of contrasting elements in the upcoming episodes. Are you still excited to continue watching Higan's vengeance story?
