Ninja Kamui Anime Release: All You Need to Know

We're just days away from the premiere of the new anime, Ninja Kamui. Fans have been eagerly anticipating this show, and the hype surrounding its release definitely seems justified.

Ninja Kamui: Plot

The story of the show follows the main character, Joe Higan, who is a former ninja who decided to quit his intense and brutal job. To do that he was forced to flee to America to hide from his old subordinates in order to live comfortably. There, he managed to establish a peaceful environment with his family, where they enjoyed their time together.

Unfortunately, assassins from his former organization were sent to punish Joe for his betrayal. They mercilessly killed his family in front of him, which led the protagonist to revert to his old self.

After this tragic incident, Joe Higan, now immersed in his "Ninja Kamui" persona, is determined to avenge his family by destroying his former clan, which dared to hurt them.

Ninja Kamui is an original anime project by Adult Swim, produced by E&H Production and Sola Entertainment.

The creation of this show involves some incredible producers and directors who are celebrated among fans for their outstanding works:

• Sunghoo Park: Director of "Ninja Kamui." Known for his work on Jujutsu Kaisen 0, The God of High School, etc.

• Takeshi Okazaki: Character designer for Ninja Kamui. Known for his work on Afro Samurai, Batman Ninja, and Star Wars: Visions.

How Many Episodes Will Ninja Kamui Be?

Although we still don't know if the anime will be only one season, it has been announced that Ninja Kamui will have 12 episodes in total.

Where to Watch Ninja Kamui?

Interestingly Ninja Kamui will be released with both English and Japanese Dub. The first to be released will be the English audio version, followed by the Japanese one later in the same evening.

The anime will be streamed on Max starting the day after its release. 

Ninja Kamui: Release Date

It was revealed by Adult Swim that Ninja Kamui will premiere on February 10, 2024, at 12:00 AM EST. This stands for the English Dubbed version of the series while the Japanese Dubbed one will be released on February 11, 2024, at 3:00 AM EST.
