How to Play Palworld Multiplayer on Xbox?

The newly released creature collector Palworld is grabbing attention for its Pokemon-style system of catching and utilizing cute companions called Pals. If you want to enjoy the game's multiplayer features through Xbox Game Pass, be aware that only certain subscription tiers will work.

How to Play Palworld Multiplayer on Xbox?

To play multiplayer Palworld using Xbox Game Pass, you need an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership. 

Ultimately, you must have an active Xbox Live Gold (Game Pass Core) subscription either via Game Pass Ultimate or purchasing Palworld outright. This enables online multiplayer connectivity required for playing with others.

Game Pass Tiers Without Palworld Multiplayer

Those using a standard Xbox Game Pass for Console or Xbox Game Pass for PC will sadly be excluded from Palworld's multiplayer modes. These subscription levels lack online multiplayer access.

You can still enjoy Palworld's single-player worlds but will encounter the "multiplayer restricted" errors when trying to play co-op. Only get the game through these tiers if you wish to play solo.
