This major content patch in Palworld's vibrant and colorful world is introducing a wide range of new features, collaborations, gameplay systems, and quality-of-life improvements, with v0.6.1 following shortly after to address specific bug fixes.

Terraria Collaboration Event

The highlight of this patch is a full-fledged crossover with Terraria:

  • Terraria Dungeon: Players can enter a new dungeon filled with iconic Terraria enemies and gather special materials for crossover gear.

  • New Equipment: The update adds six new weapons and seven unique armor pieces inspired by Terraria.

  • Hexolite Quartz Mine – As expected, this structure lets you mine Hexolite Quartz automatically.
  • Large Incubator – Enables hatching several eggs at once.
  • Palbox Control Device – A base terminal that provides full access to your Pal Box, making it easier to switch Pals during raid encounters.

Movement & World Interaction

  • Turbulence Drafts – Vertical air currents enable high-altitude jumps and exploration.

Gear, Items & Crafting

  • New Weapons: Charge Rifle, Energy Shotgun, Overheat Rifle.

  • Support Gear: Boost Gun, Pal Recovery Grenade.

  • Utilities: Whistles, Growth Acceleration Bell, and a variety of new food recipes.

Arena Overhaul

  • Solo Mode: Face solo challenges for rankings and rewards.

Bug Fixes in v0.6.1

Released shortly after v0.6.0, this hotfix patch addresses a major bug:

  • Fixed an error caused by overwriting Pal team presets in the Pal Box followed by returning to the title screen when the team had empty slots.

Note: Developers are currently investigating an issue affecting autosaves on Xbox and PS5.
