We already have the first trailer for Black Mirror Season 7. Although the teaser doesn't necessarily reveal much from the show itself, it does confirm that Season 7 will consist of six episodes. This marks the third season of the show to feature six episodes, following Seasons 3 and 4, which is more than the number of episodes in the previous seasons.

Deadline reported an even bigger teaser that Netflix shared regarding Season 7 of Black Mirror. It appears that a highly acclaimed episode will be returning with a sequel:

"USS Callister will return… Robert Daly is dead, but for the crew of the USS Callister, their problems are just beginning,"

We will not only see the return of the iconic Star Trek-inspired episode but also learn what happened to the crew of USS Callister after the events of the original episode. This has never been done before in the show.

Furthermore, this means that we can expect the return of all members of the USS Callister crew, including Cristin Milioti, Jimmi Simpson, Michaela Coel, Billy Magnussen, and even Aaron Paul. You might not know this, but he is the one providing the voiceover for "Gamer691". While having actors return to the show is not unprecedented, we will undoubtedly be thrilled to see familiar faces reunite once again.

The new Black Mirror trailer revealed that Season 7 will air in 2025. Considering that Season 6 dropped just last year, this might be the shortest wait fans of the show have experienced for a new season. Seasons 5 and 6 had a four-year gap. We are glad that this time the wait won't be long, and we will get to see more unique digital catastrophe stories sooner than ever.
