Commentary and Takeaways

Ambessa

Usually, when a new champion is released in LoL, the newcomer gets a high ban rate. However, Ambessa's is extremely high and you won't be able to pick her up in more than half of the Ranked games. The League of Legends team already mentioned she'll get adjustments in the next patch to make her more balanced.

Sylas

Sylas got his health growth nerfed in LoL patch 14.22 as players were relying a lot on building more health, thus making him too strong. The changes in the latest update balanced him while also allowing Sylas to keep his powerful state.

Ashe

Ashe climbs up to the second place among the most-played champions. She's an amazing choice, being extremely easy to play while also dealing some serious damage. Ashe is a classic League of Legends champ and you can't go wrong with her.

Caitlyn

Cait is dominating the chart in patch 14.22. With her long-range and strong poke, she's top the list of the most-played champs and keeps her position among the most-banned.

Lux

Lux is among the most-played champions because she's very versatile. She can support, she can be in the midlane and some people can even pull her off as an ADC. Her kit offers everything you might need.

Jinx

The star of Arcane is seeing a boost in her popularity. Jinx is a very easy ADC champion to pull off and she can turn into an absolute menace late game.

Lee Sin

Lee Sin is still the most-played jungler in LoL. He's easy to play and amazing when mastered. His mobility allows for great outplays so his popularity is understandable.
