The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 2 New Teaser in The Ones Who Live

We already know that TWD: Daryl Dixon Season 2 is going to air sometime this year. The first season teased us with Carol joining the show in her search to bring Daryl back from his years-long trip.

The Walking Dead's spin-off shows have been a huge success and are building up the universe even more. The Ones Who Live is not an exception as it has revealed a lot of mysteries about CRM, introduced very good new characters, and allowed us to see our favorite couple get back together. The upcoming last episode of the show is giving us yet another surprise as it is said that a new trailer for The Book of Carol will be shown at the end of it. Find out all about it below.

What Happened in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 1?

Daryl's spin-off allowed us to follow his journey of looking for Rick after he heard Judith mumble that he was alive, which brought him new hope. After his first stop in Maine, Daryl finds his way far from home in France. Later on, we found out how this mysterious detour came to be, but it was a huge surprise at the beginning.

In Europe, Daryl met a lot of new characters and groups, including the Nuns, the group of kids who were surviving alone, and the conductor with the zombie orchestra. After he is washed ashore in France, Daryl manages to befriend Laurent, who is regarded as a messiah, and Isabelle, who is one of the Nuns.

One of the most surprising elements of the show was definitely the zombie variants that were much stronger and faster than the regular walkers we know. After a lot of tough fights and hardships, Daryl and his new group managed to escape Madame Jan.

However, instead of leaving France, Daryl decided to stay a little longer and help Isabelle and Laurent for now. At the end of the show, we see the return of Carol, who is now searching for Daryl. This served as a setup for the upcoming Season 2.

First Trailer for The Book of Carol at the End of The Ones Who Live 

Variety reported that Episode 6 of The Ones Who Live will feature a first look into Season 2 of Daryl Dixon. Apparently, right after the finale of The Ones Who Live, the new AMC crime drama called "Parish" with Giancarlo Esposito will premiere with no ads during its broadcast.

Right after the first episode of the show, AMC will release a first trailer for The Book of Carol which will show us more about the show and what to expect. What is more, we hope to see details about the release date and the cast of the show. This Sunday is definitely going to be an exciting one. 

Daryl Dixon Season 2: The Book of Carol Release Date 

There is not an official release date yet, but Daryl Dixon Season 2: The Book of Carol is set to air in the summer of 2024. We will get to see Carol as the main lead in the second show, as well as Daryl and his companions' new journeys. Hopefully, at the end of The Ones Who Live, we will also get a specific release date for the show.
