Teamfight Tactics 14.9 B-Patch Notes
Here we listed the 14.9 B-Patch Notes for Teamfight Tactics that were unveiled on Teamfight Tactics' X account. This is what the developer said about the mid-patch updates:
"While our mid-week B-patch is primarily to fix a bug that’s made Ghostly far weaker than intended, we’ve also managed to get in two quick nerfs"
Lissandra Nerf
Since Patch 14.8, Lissandra, the powerful five-cost champion, has been a force to be reckoned with. Her ability to stun melee carries by encasing them in ice and then tossing them into the backline has frustrated many players.
To address this, the developers have reduced Lissandra's mana to make her less dominant
- Lissandra Max Mana: 40/100 ⇒ 60/120
Raising Lissandra's mana cost will make her cast spells less often, giving melee carries some relief. However, the developers recognize that more changes are needed, and they plan to make further adjustments in Patch 14.10.
Ghostly Trait Fix
In the 14.9 update, the Ghostly trait got a revamp, but a serious bug made it malfunction. Ghostly units were not dealing extra damage as they should, making the trait unusable. The B-patch fixed this problem, so now Ghostly units give the bonus damage to non-Ghostly champions correctly.

Talisman of Ascension Nerf
Among the new Artifact items introduced in Patch 14.9, the Talisman of Ascension has proven to be very strong. To balance its power, the developers have implemented the following adjustments in 14.9 B patch notes:
- Base Health: 400 ⇒ 300
- Damage: 150% ⇒ 120%
- Time to proc: 18 sec ⇒ 22 sec
These nerfs aim to reduce the Talisman's effectiveness, bringing it more in line with the other Artifact items.
Cursed Blade Disabled
Additionally, the Cursed Blade Augment has been temporarily disabled due to a bug. The developers have acknowledged this issue and are working on a fix, with the possibility of bringing the Augment in Patch 14.10.
The Teamfight Tactics 14.9 B-patch reflects Riot Games' dedication to listen to players' concerns and keeping the game balanced and fun. Stay tuned and wait until the next patch is coming!
