Winner: HLE
A hard fought start to the series as HLE struggled during the laning phase, only for T1 to mess up during the mid game as Zeka, Zeus, and Peanut dominated the team fights. Not only was Zeus' Jax on point, but Faker seemed lackluster, failing to keep up with the aggression and macro plays on the side of HLE.
T1 seemed incredibly shaky this series as HLE kept punishing them time and time again. Faker out of the bunch was caught lacking against Zeka in lane, seemingly unable to gain significant leads over the First Stand champions. In the end, HLE was able to find one final team fight and defeat T1 by going 2-0 in this match.
