A member of the Sylvan Watchers, Glaicad Of The Meltwater is a Force Legendary Champion who joins RAID in Update 8.50.

He is a powerful support unit that can not only place many powerful buffs on allies but also mass revive and manipulate the turn order, which as we all know, is one of the most powerful abilities in RAID: Shadow Legends.

Glaicad is the second Champion in the 8.50 lineup that has this support utility. Senna Amberheart is the other Legendary Champion from the new update who can also mass revive and buff her teammates. However, unlike Senna, Glaicad is not focused on healing, but rather increasing his team’s damage while applying defensive buffs to keep them alive.

His ability to place the [Perfect Veil] buff on the whole team and increase their damage thanks to his passive, while also boosting their Turn Meter is a great and powerful tool to have in all modes.

Additionally, he can also apply [Freeze] which can be useful in some runs.

Finally, his mass revive also applies good defensive and ACC buffs on his whole team, making it one game-changing tool in most scenarios.

• Description:
  • Attacks 1 enemy 2 times.
  • Each hit has a 35% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff for 1 turn.
  • If the target has 50% HP or less, this debuff cannot be resisted.
• Level Effects:
  • Lvl.2 - Damage +5%
  • Lvl.3 - Damage +5%
  • Lvl.4 - Buff/Debuff Chance +5%
  • Lvl.5 - Buff/Debuff Chance +10%

Meltwater Cloak

• Description:
  • Places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
  • Also has an 80% chance to place a [Perfect Veil] buff on all allies except this Champion for 2 turns.
  • Then fills the Turn Meters of all allies by 15%.
• Cooldown: 5 Turns
• Level Effects:
  • Lvl.2 - Buff/Debuff Chance +10%
  • Lvl.3 - Buff/Debuff Chance +10%
  • Lvl.4 - Cooldown -1

Lifestream

• Description:
  • Revives all dead allies with 40% HP and 25% Turn Meter.
  • Also places a 50% [Increase ACC] buff and a 60% [Increase DEF] buff on all allies for 3 turns.
  • These buffs will be placed even if no allies were revived.
  • If no allies were revived by this skill, grants this Champion an Extra Turn.
• Cooldown: 7 Turns
• Level Effects:
  • Lvl.2 - Cooldown -1
  • Lvl.3 - Cooldown -1

Thaw-Might

• Allies under a [Perfect Veil] buff placed by this Champion deal 10% more damage.
• Allies under a [Perfect Veil] buff placed by this Champion deal an additional 10% damage to enemies under [Veil] or [Perfect Veil] buffs.

SPD Aura

• Increases Ally SPD in all battles by 19%.

Summary

Being the second mass reviver in this update it might seem like Glaicad might have a run for his money, however, upon further inspection, it can be seen that both Glaicad and Senna have their unique uses in the way that they support their teams.

Glaicad does this by placing defensive buffs and increasing damage, while Senna is focused on healing. Each is a great addition to the game, and we are certain that Glaicad will find his spot on many teams after his release.
