RAID: Shadow Legends has announced that it will once again be holding a free Gear Removal event, which will this time last a total of 4 days, during which players will be able to remove their gear for free!

Free Gear Removal Event Duration

As already mentioned the free gear removal event will last for a total of 4 days, with its starting time being April 25 09:00 UTC. The event is currently live so those of you wishing to participate you can do so right now.

There is still time until April 29 for those wishing to participate and make the most use of the event to save up on their Silver stashes. So if you’re planning on testing builds and swapping gears then these days might be the time to do it.

Free Gear Removal Event Explanation

There is nothing much to explain about the free gear removal event, apart from the fact that it is an event in which players can remove and swap Gears for the total cost of 0 Silver.

During this time you can test out Gears on different Champions to see what works best, or simply try out new builds. Regardless, this event is the best time for players who want to swap their Gears to do so at zero cost.

There are several ways to check if the event is still running. 

The first is to compare with the event duration table above to see if the event is live. 

The second, and easier way, is to hop into the game and look for the purple helmet icon under your account window in the top left corner. If the icon is there, the event is on, if the icon is gone, then so is the event.

Regardless of which you choose make sure that the event is running while you’re swapping or removing your gears so that you can save up Silver for the Artifact Enhancement Event that is running at the same time as the Free Gear Removal Event.
