Best Starter Champion in RAID: Shadow Legends

While you can best every challenge in RAID with any of the starter Champions, none offer a smoother road forward than Kael. This is due to Kael's attacks and their ability to inflict Poison on enemies, an invaluable trait against some of the first major challenges you will face in RAID, such as the clan boss, 'Demon Lord.'

Kael also boasts an impressive kit of AoE abilities, making him excellent for destroying large packs of enemies (which you'll be facing constantly throughout the Campaign!) This makes Kael your ideal starter Champion.

RAID Shadow Legends Campaign Guide

So, you've got your starter Champion and nailed the tutorial. What's next?

Your first focus is the Campaign. By progressing the Campaign, you'll be:

• Leveling up your account alongside your Champions, unlocking new features and resources as you go
• Unlocking and earning new gear sets to upgrade and customize your Champions
• Progressing the Campaign story
• Eventually unlocking harder difficulties of the Campaign for even greater future rewards

Note: You should also earn 3 Stars on every Campaign mission as soon as possible, as these Stars contribute towards your Campaign Rewards track, earning you powerful rewards as you gain in progress!

To earn 3 Stars on a Campaign Stage, you must complete it using 2 or fewer Champions in your team, and suffer 0 deaths throughout the Stage.RAID: Shadow Legends Beginner Tips

Missions, Quests, and Challenges

These 3 menus, accessible in your Bastion and pictured below, will list every bonus objective you can complete for extra rewards. Some objectives, like Quests, will refresh regularly upon completion, whereas Challenges offer one-time rewards.

Always check your Quests, Missions, and Challenges as soon as you arrive in RAID to make sure you're hitting those objectives and farming your free rewards! How to Use Rare Skill Tomes

If you're doing your Quests and Challenges, you'll be getting these Skill Tomes often. If you paid attention in the tutorial, you'll know that these Skill Tomes are used to upgrade your Champions' skills in the Tavern building (unlocked at account level 6). So, how should you spend them?

You should always spend your Rare Skill Tomes on upgrading your starter Champions skills in the Tavern. This is because your starter Champion is a key part of your best possible starter Champion team, and they will be at your side until the end game, so any resources you pump into making them stronger are never wasted!

Make sure to explore every building, menu, and event in your Bastion. One of the best parts about RAID is the amount of free stuff you'll get every day just by checking the Shop, taking part in limited-time events, opening your Daily Login Rewards track, joining in on Clan activities, and more.
