The developers have announced the Spooktacular Pack for Planet Coaster 2, a Halloween feature pack that goes on sale on 29 October. The announcement was posted on October 22, 2026, and the pack brings the debut of Walkthrough Attractions, more than 700 scenery pieces, seven rides and a trio of entertainers.

If you want to turn your park into either a family-friendly Halloween celebration or a full haunted theme park, this is the pack built for it. A free update lands on the same day for all platforms. Below we will go over what the pack includes, what the free update adds and what it costs.

What the Spooktacular Pack Includes

The developers describe the pack as delivering fright-filled fun at every turn. According to the official announcement, it includes:

  • Walkthrough Attractions: a new attraction type making its debut.
  • Over 700 scenery pieces: scream-worthy props for your parks.
  • Seven rides: the full list is below.
  • Three entertainers: a ghostly trio just dying to make themselves at home in your parks.

Walkthrough Attractions

You can create fully custom Walkthrough Attractions and tailor how guests react to every twist, turn and surprise along the way. Guide visitors through haunted woodlands, ghostly pirate adventures or entirely unique creations. You can start from a blueprint or build from scratch, and you get access to the new Spooktacular scenery plus the wide range of themes already in the game.

The Seven New Rides

  • Big M's Rides - Spectre: a modular launch coaster with powerful LSM multi-launches and open-seating designs. It is highly customisable.
  • Jerry St Lauer - Sledge: an eerie coaster that glides over twisting hills and sends guests of all ages on a ride through the night.
  • Bosetti: a dark tracked ride where guests float through their own ghost story.
  • Ballista: a non-inverting, swinging gondola spun by rotating arms that launches guests up into the air.
  • Rumpus Room: a topsy-turvy spinning chamber where up is down and down is up.
  • Horror Heights: a drop tower dark ride.
  • The Huntsman: a tracked ride that is perfect for storytelling.

Spooktacular and Spooky Themes

The Spooktacular Theme suits a dilapidated ghost town, with boarded-up windows, broken wooden planks and rusty corrugated metal. Menacing monster teeth and glowing eyes finish off the haunted, possessed look for your buildings.

The Spooky Theme is the companion to it. It is packed with creepy animatronics, pumpkins and eerie graveyard scenery, so you can build crumbling crypts and forgotten cemeteries and fill them with tombstones, skeletons, gargoyles and cobwebs.

Update 12 and Price

Alongside the pack, 29 October also brings Update 12, a new free update to all platforms. It adds three things:

  • Photo Stand-Ins: themed boards you place throughout your park so guests stop, pose and capture a souvenir photo. They are available across a variety of base game themes, with a blank variant for custom creations.
  • Reaction Points: link scenery to a Reaction Point, customise its radius and choose how guests respond as they pass through the area.
  • Scared reaction: a new guest reaction that you can assign to Vista, Event and Reaction Points.

The Spooktacular Pack is priced at £14.99 / $18.99 / €18.99.
