New Given Movie Part 2 Confirmed: Release Date, Title, and More

In January 2024, the highly anticipated sequel movie to Given was released. The Hiiragi Mix film followed the relationship between Hiiragi and Shizusumi and was only the first part of two. Less than a month after its release, we received information about the second movie adaptation. Here is everything we know so far.

The official Given (Twitter) account posted the following collage with panels from the manga. The picture reveals that the name of the second part will be "Umi e" ("To The Sea").

Apparently, the second movie was first announced during a greeting for the first movie at Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo. There, the voice actor of Nakayama Haruki - Nakazawa Masatomo - stated, "I guess I can go to the sea!"

Not only that, but we also received an official confirmed release window for Given Movie Part 2 - Fall 2024. We will get to see both parts of the sequel within a year, which is very rare.

Similarly to the previous movie, the main cast participates alongside the newly introduced couple. The chapters that it will cover will most likely start from chapter 42 (Mix 12) since this is where the first part left off.
