AFK Journey: Dream Realm Necrodrakon Best Teams

Necrodrakon is one of the bosses in the Dream Realm in AFK Journey and is the boss who requires a somewhat unique strategy when compared to the other bosses.

The Necrodrakon is a boss that rewards heroes who move around, and in turn, punishes those who stay in one place to try and deal damage.

This guide will teach you all you need to know about the Necrodrakon as well as show you some of the best teams for this boss.

Necrodrakon introduction

Necrodrakon is one of the four bosses in the Dream Realm and is the boss who comes after King Croaker.

Necrodrakon does not have any interruption mechanics similar to Snow Stomper, nor does he have an immunity window like the Skyclops, or an instant kill mechanic like King Croaker. Necrodrakon simply deals a lot of damage during the whole duration of the fight.

However, this does not mean that you can just use a healer to go around his mechanics. Necrodrakon’s kit is made in a way so that he occasionally will target your healthiest heroes, which most of the time will happen to be your healers, making them, not that necessary here.

Let’s see just what you’ll need to fight the Necrodrakon.

Best Teams for Necrodrakon

As already explained the Necrodrakon is a healer killing machine and as such using healers against him can be useful, but you would rather focus on heroes that can heal themselves and do a lot of damage, rather than hoping for healers.

Some of the heroes that do really well against the Necrodrakon are - Temesia / Marilee / Torin / Thoran / Kruger.

When it comes to the heroes above, they all have either self-sustain in their kit or a lot of mobility which will allow them to dodge Necrodrakon’s attacks.

For Necrodrakon you’ll want a team consisting of the following roles:

• Tank
• Debuffer
• Buffer
• DPS

For Artifact, you’ll want to use - Awakening Spell.

We’re using Awakening Spell here because we won’t be using a healer but will focus solely on DPS, and Awakening Spell will offer that slight survivability that the team needs.
