Honkai Star Rail is gearing up for a major update that promises to bring exciting new content for endgame enthusiasts. According to recent leaks, version 2.3 will introduce "Apocalyptic Shadow," a permanent game mode designed to challenge Trailblazers with reimagined boss encounters and more strategic gameplay.

The introduction of Apocalyptic Shadow in the upcoming Version 2.3 update will follow the success of previous modes like Pure Fiction and Memory of Chaos.

Alongside Apocalyptic Shadow, the Simulated Universe will undergo a big change called the Divergent Universe. This update will introduce new mechanics and features to make farming Planar Ornaments easier.

A key new feature is the Curios and Blessing Save File system. After clearing the Divergent Universe, players can save their acquired Curios and Blessings. This file lets them challenge bosses directly and earn Planar Ornaments without replaying the entire mode.

Restart Challenge Feature

The developers have also addressed a long-standing issue with the introduction of the Restart Challenge feature. Players will now have the ability to restart battles, giving a more forgiving and easy gaming experience.

Moreover, the Divergent Universe will offer new unique rewards, including various leveling materials and Stellar Jades. Clearing this mode will also grant players weekly Simulated Universe points, adding an extra layer of progression and incentive.
