Apex Legends New Legend Alter: Leaked Trailer, Legendary Skin, Lobby Animation and More

Alter is the newest legend in Apex Legends, yet to be released. However, leaks have been revealing more and more about her for a while. Initially, we only knew some of her abilities and her design, but now we have full, unfinished trailer leaks and more details about her abilities and backstory. It's unfortunate that basically all the information about the upcoming legend for Season 21 has been leaked. Fans speculate that this might be happening because of the recent major layoffs of EA employees.

Despite the leaks spreading across the internet, players seem super excited about both her powers and backstory. It's early to say, but it seems that the leaks have only increased the hype for her release. Check out everything that is known about Alter!

Apex Legends New Legends Alter: Leaked Trailer and Storyline

Alter's trailer revolves around the question asked by everyone from every world she visits: "Who are you?" The trailer begins with her preparing to kill a man who also asks her the same question. Alter explains how she was raised to be a killer from a young age and how she was the best among all the other children. She later reveals that at some point in her life, her parents were killed, which triggered a change within her. There is a theory that this might be why she is traveling to different worlds or time traveling.

Since Alter was first leaked, fans have speculated about her relation to Horizon. The trailer confirms that she has some connection to our well-known brilliant astrophysicist, as at the end of the trailer, she drops a photo of Horizon and her son, hinting that Alter is searching for her.

Alter's abilities were leaked almost a month ago from an X account called Osvaldator. Here is what her ability kit looks like.

Passive - Gift from the Rift

Alter's Gift from the Rift will give you the chance to obtain one item from any death box remotely as long as it's not not armor. 

Tactical - Void's Passage

Void Passage lets Alter create a two-way portal through surfaces.

Ultimate - Void Nexus

The Void Nexus ability creates a regroup point that all allies can interact with. It pulls them through the void and leads them to that specific location which would allow your team to travel through the map instantly.

Along with the rest of the information about her, we also had a chance to take a look at her future Legendary skins before Alter was even released. The Legendary skin looks amazing and seems to represent a Japanese demon "Oni," which fits her persona perfectly.

Her Lobby Animation also adds to her scary appearance. Alter bends back almost fully while maintaining an unsettling grin on her face.

Apex Legends New Legends Alter: Release Date

Various reports have announced that Alter will be released at the beginning of Apex Legends Season 21. We are inclined to believe this is true, especially since Season 20 didn't introduce any new legends to the battlefield, which didn't sit well with the players.

Apex Legends Season 21 will commence on May 7, when Alter will also become available to play.
