the points you are giving here are so true ive not had this for long im still working on implementing these into my games im from console and dropped over 1000 sr while making the transition over to pc gameleap ftw

I just gave in and got an alt account to see if I could get to plat as I managed to get to plat and was stressed about falling back to gold. figure I almost placed diamond and I've been slowly climbing towards it with a 58% wr so far :x game be confusing sometimes!

I agree 100% with the hard truths...except for your definition of "smurf". You don't need to be Top 500 to smurf. In fact, I would also agree that 99% of the players most people identify as a smurf are NOT Top 500. But to me...a Diamond in a Silver game is a smurf. Either their knowledge of the game OR their mechanics (or both) are light years above most of the players in that SR. It's very, very easy for them to control the game with the right hero.

Bronze competitive is full of derankers, people who kill all the noobs in one game then throw the next to stay low ranked. The matchmaker is totally unable to deal with this. For people who actually belong in the rank their contribution is meaningless and the game is won or lost in matchmaking.

Thanks Mills :D 90% of what you told can be reflected in my Mainaccount ^^ 4 seasons Silver 11 Seasons Gold and since Season 16 im in Platinum. it took Time, Sweat and Dedication to get up there and im currently scratching at Diamond. so for everyone out there DONT GIVE UP ! :)

These truths I can vouch for, especially for the smurf tip, you see Emongg, Jay3, Tim, and Flats play off roles in low rank where people think it's smurfing, but you see them losing too. Don't let the account level deceive you ♥

Hey mills or anyone in the comments, Im 13 but I have an extremely limited life and I can only play like an hour on weekdays but I play all day on weekends but I still carry my friends and I can get out of my rank but im wondering how I can bring even more value if I don't have much time to practice
