Helldivers 2: Best Way to Kill Hulks

Dealing with the Automatons in Helldivers 2 is never easy but when you are facing Hulks, you do need to be prepared. Due to the fact that there are so many different variations of the Hulk, it is hard to know what to expect. Sometimes they are armed with rockets but other times they have chainsaws and flamethrowers. The only good news is that they all have the same weaknesses.

As you can imagine, you will find Hulks on the Automaton planets. While you can find them on most missions, you will start to see more Hulks when you attempt Challenging difficulty or higher. Make sure you have the best loadout before you try taking them on.

How to Kill Hulks in Helldivers 2

When dealing with any harder enemies in Helldivers 2, you will have to aim for the weak spots. Luckily for us, there are plenty to choose from when it comes to the Hulk. You can take out their arms to reduce their attacking potential. Keep up your fire with your primary weapon and aim for their limbs. You can also concentrate on their head, which is in the middle of their body.

Make sure you have a support weapon with heavy armor penetration and the Hulks will only need a couple of shots before they explode. Something like the Quasar Cannon is your best option in this scenario. You could also try the Railgun or the Autocannon but the Quasar’s infinite ammo is definitely boosting it forward as the best support weapon against the Automatons.

Another weak spot to aim for is on the back of the Hulk. Get one of your squad to cause a distraction and get behind it. One shot with the Quasar will deal with your bot problem easily enough. Your other option is to use your more powerful stratagems. The Orbital Laser will make short work of Hulks and is sometimes the best method, especially when there is more than one.
